Whats interesting is that everyone eats apples. But why not sugar cubes?? Are sugar cubs much like crack or drugs in ponyville?

The closest thing to being drunk was a pony in Appeloosa who had a bit too much salt. However, we have seen them drinking cider that had a head, (soft cider doesn't foam like that).
