Athena Concept Page part 4 Final
To finalize everything, I took my favorite version of the two final Athena concepts (now my reference when drawing her), inked and colored it.
I usually pick complimentary colors when coloring a character, thus I strived to pick colors that were closer to each other and a warm tone to throw off my affinity to colder colors. I chose a dark yellow that I do not use much to go with Athena's eyes and a red for the sash to create harmony. I did not change the color concept from a snow owl, and left it the same. Since black is a general no-no in art, I went with a warm light and dark brown. Brown is a neutral color and doesn't hurt the over all composition.
