Aftermath
This is a new acrylic painting I did, having my fursona Sir Kiljaos Windmane, lion paladin of wind, standing on a windy cliff after defending a fortress from his enemies, being injured after the battle. He doesn't seem very cheerful though despite the victory.
When I did this painting, I didn't have much ideas and that's why painted my fursona Sir Kiljaos again and I do understand if some have gotten tired of seeing him instead of my female characters. For the setting I got inspiration from the game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, especially from one specific map. This painting is also rather dark and gloomy because I was feeling very down when I did this. I know very well how empty the whole background feels and the lack of details makes you to not hear the rustiling of Kiljaos's cape as it billows in the wind.
In real life this painting looks much better, but my digital camera screwed it up completly. About that I can do nothing and I've tried all the settings and surroundings. And I can't afford a better camera or bigger scanner so I could scan bigger paintings like this one.
