What can I say? Seth is always three steps ahead of Peter in everything they do.
Comic-wise, this was another attempt of mine to draw my old neighborhood from memory. A lot of the background details were lost in the inking phase, since it all started to look entirely too cluttered and chaotic. I had to take out a few of the houses and such so you could actually see Seth and Persephoni in a couple areas.
Speaking of which, Seth and Persephoni seem to get closer every time they’re in a comic together. I always wanted them to have a closer bond, but since they are both Guardians, there will always be that element of wonder as to whether or not anything can ever come out of it.
The next comic is the big #100, and will be the final page in this story arc. I’m going to be jumping right into the next story around New Year’s, and introducing a new character to the mix. It should be fun indeed.

Oh, you got me there, Jon. Nice twist on the fact that Seth already knew Peter had seen the letters--I didn't expect that, and yet I should've figured that anyway. Way to keep me guessing. :) Oh, and great job on your facial expressions--you keep them very simple, and yet you still get the emotion across. Here, it looks to me like Seth is still feeling down, but has that half-smile of one who knows a friend is trying to cheer him up.
So then, oh-creator-of-the-guardians, how does one embrace life itself, hm? ;) I guess I'm going to have to keep reading to find out.
