Amazingly, it's still 55-60 degrees in Chicago, so I'm still playing golf! Today I went to Ruffled Feathers in Lemont, Illinois, a slightly gimmicky Pete Dye design with a ton of sand and water (71.4/135).

 skuffcoyote suggested that I need to start documenting stuff like fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts and hazards, so I did. From this, I have deduced that I need to hit more fairways, hit more greens in regulation, sink more putts and land in fewer hazards. :3

Two birdies in a row, including on the island green hole! (Take that, Dye!) Missed the ace by a foot and a half. Biggest problem was actually hitting over greens... those lessons are paying off and I need to re-adjust. That and the fact that my drives are terrible. Two stupid double bogies sank my hopes of breaking 80... one from a sand blast skulled into a lake (stupid winter sand), the other from a weak flop shot that rolled into a bunker.

Playing again tomorrow, and maybe the day after... then it'll be too cold.
