The birds chirped along the quiet residential street. Sly walked along whistling to himself as he went. He was heading for his sister’s place. Sakura and Pearl were roommates in a modest one story house on this street. He had been invited to hang out with his adoptive sisters and couldn’t wait to see them. They had just returned from London, where Sakura went for a special piano concert and it had been a little while since he’d seen them. The wolfox stepped up to the door and stared confused at the note on the door. “Sly, something came up. Hope you don’t mind meeting us at the concert hall instead.” read the note. It was signed by both of his sisters. He scratched his head in confusion, but followed the instructions anyway.

When Sly reached the concert hall, he was surprised to find Pearl standing outside dressed as an usher. “Right this way Mr. Sly.” she said with a bow. Sly raised an eyebrow, but followed her lead anyway. She led him into the concert hall and down the empty audience seating rows. Your seat is right here Mr. Sly. Enjoy.” she said handing him a schedule before taking her leave. Sly looked around confused before the lights dimmed and the room grew darker. He heard light footsteps coming from behind the curtain before it opened, revealing Sakura standing there in her elegant black concert dress. She was standing in front of a microphone and was fidgeting softly. “Um…G-Good afternoon Sly. I-I wanted to give you this private concert to celebrate your birthday. I know its tomorrow, but I’m sure Maneki and Luck have something planned for you. This is from me to you. I hope you’ll enjoy it.” she said a little hesitantly with a bow before turning to move over to the piano. Sly looked at the schedule in his hand. All of his favorite songs were listed here. “Sakura really put some thought into this. Thank you little sis. I will most definitely enjoy this gift.” he thought to himself as she began to play, soft chords and melodies echoing and flowing around the concert hall beautifully.
