More Dodger pictures. I've had him on my mind a lot lately for some reason or another. This one is from 2009.
He was a smart dog. I was home from college and getting ready to head back up. He'd pretty well figured out what was going on when I'd gather all my stuff in the dining room, and he never wanted to let me leave. We pulled my sister's car into the garage to get it loaded up. Almost as soon as I opened that door, he jumped right in as if to say "You're not going anywhere!" He's actually half-sitting on that seat. We had to lure him out with food once we got the car all packed and I was ready to go.
I miss him :/

Yeah. Almost every time I went back to college after a longer break he'd get really nervous. He tried to get into the car on several occasions like this, but we usually got the doors closed before he got in. And all while I'd be packing, he'd pace around the house nervously.
He also just always wanted to be with the family. Preferably in the middle of the family. Forget playing card games on the floor. He'd lay down right in the middle of us. At least he knew enough to stay off board games though.
