Mostly just a personal piece but figured it might touch others as well. Minor bits of symbolism.
Nudity as far as showing others your body is generally the last thing most ever find out about you at least in western cultures. Symbolizing the knowing all about someone. It takes a lot of trust and love to do that for most.
Choice of quote stems from the fact that I believe one can love their friends just as much as they may love a lover or someone else even if it is shown in a different way at times.

I really like the quote, here. I don't quite apply the same symbolism but I find the art really cute and yeah, that quote's meaning is probably why I don't have many people that I actually call friends. If I cannot be close to someone, it becomes hard to view them as such. My idea of friendship vs my idea of love has very little separation. |3
That's so true. If only there were more who shared that point of view. I can call many people friends but that doesn't mean I really trust them through and through. Some I trust more than others, obviously, but there are few I trust completely. I split friendship up in different groups, like just friends, good friends, great friends and so on. I won't use the term "real friends" because that sounds negative to those who aren't.
But those who are friends all the way through are the ones there are few of and the ones described in that quote, the way I see it anyway.

You're welcome ^.^ though because I find my girlfriend as perfect as she is I wouldn't want to put anyone above her or as an equal. She's the most treasured and precious person I have and I wouldn't hesitate to give up everything for her and nothing will ever change that. However, I do love friends like that a huge lot, really, and they're very important to me. As there are only a few people like in the world it's really hard to imagine what it would be like without them. It's pretty much impossible and it hurts just by trying.
But if I absolutely had to I'd choose my girlfriend over them, even though it would really hurt. But I guess that's mostly because she's my perfect girl :3

Yeah I guess so. I love my girlfriend more than anyone else but that does not mean I don't love them. I do, and a great deal at that. Friends like the quote describes are are among the most important and precious persons to me but just not as much as my girlfriend :3
I really love this quote hun. It is a big step in friendship to show that. The quote fits very well with the picture. Very thought provoking and a definite tender feel to the whole picture. You have your right to disagree but I ask you, what is a mate/lover if not your friend first? What a lonely world it must be if you must choose one person to love above the rest. There are a few friends I love just as much as I did any mate/lover I had in the past and still do. I may show that love in different ways but that does not change the way I feel about them. My closest friends become family not because they may happen to be a mate/lover at a time and not because they've earned that right; They become family because I can't imagine life without them mate/lover status or not..
well shouldn't you put your mate first? same goes for family they should come first. True some friends may become so close their like family...but um...i don't think people would sit or lay naked with their friends like that. >.>;; *points to above pic* I know you can love your friends dearly, but idk that seems to be crossing a line...OAO...and what if those friends that you were so close to and loved like any mate/lover hurt you? I'm not going to argue with you any more. My beliefs are just that, Mine. Your beliefs are your own. If you don't like the image stay off of it's page. Image relates to a very select few of my friends to begin with. If you can't understand the symbolism that's not my issue.
Well you shouldn't have to worry about it. Now stop making comments that really aren't needed. Like I said my beliefs are my own and I won't simply change them because you don't like it. I won't change the image because you don't like it either. If you don't like it stop coming back to it and commenting.
