I been wanted to try to do a simple animation, just never took the time to do it. But then I got a little motivation to finally do one using Bleux in toony style since it was the simplest to work with.
EDIT: Minor animation frame edit.
P.S. - I don't yet if I would add this to my commission, I might. I can suspect that this will be a time consuming project due to drawing frames and such.

My experience with animating blinks is that they look better if they go from totally open to totally closed in one frame, then use the in-between (eyes half open) as he opens his eyes. In other words:
frame 1: open
frame 2: closed
frame 3: half open.
Otherwise the character looks like he's deliberately closing his eyes rather than blinking.

Ok. As you can tell I'm still a bit inexperienced with this. I had been curious before a long time back to work with animation but I had never progress further with it. But I'll try that method next time or see if I can do that with this animation. Thank you for the advice.
