Here we go! Last one this week, experiment log #6. She really loses it in this one. Torn away from her human body, having had seen it warp itself into a new creature, experience the sensation of gaining new muscles and bones, all the while having her connection to civilization and order ripped from her very han- paws. She's turning feral, a savage, because her mind cannot fathom the change in form she is going through. It amuses me, the human mind. So fragile, so... twist-able... here's the story anyway:
A month and three quarters is apparently what it takes to cause a mental breakdown. The subject is starting to act more and more feline, occasionally walking on all fours, though this may possibly be from the back paws changing as well. She takes whatever raw meat I send down there sometimes too. She no longer uses her "modesty blanket" and no longer keeps up with her appearance by brushing her hair. it just fluffs out like a savage. She can still read and write though, as she scratched "Now animal> human"on the wall. She also clawed up the walls, knocked over a bookcase, and tore up a tree I hid a camera in. Most concerning though, is the blank stare she has been giving. She hasn't shown any sign of emotion since she trashed the place.
Structurally, she is almost to her final form. Her tail is fully functional and she seems to have gotten used to it. All of her spots have seemed to develop. The paws have a little bit left to go, but I expect the progress to be completed by the end of the month. The test has gone quite well so far and I'm getting just the results I need. This test has really shown the psychological effects on the changing of one's body slowly over time. The change is really remarkable, indescribable, in fact, on these few lines ( OR you just have the poor writing skills to match your drawing skills...). I'll write a report on these as soon as I make it back to GEAR.
So you see kids, Lemme put it this way: Big Secret Genetics company (GEAR, if that's not clear)= Bad people. They make normal people lose their identity beyond their will. GEAR forces them to become something their not, causing them to lose a grip on reality, HAVING EVERYTHING THEY KNOW AND LOVE TORN FROM THEIR LIVES AND THROWN AWAY LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. Oops, caps lock. Sorry about that.
So lesson to know today, kiddos, be grateful for your mind. In the end, it's the only thing you have. Even when your body and life have been broken to pieces, your mind is still there, as long as you hold on to reality. As soon as you slip off the edge of reality, you come tumbling down. Hard. I've seen it too many times before...
