Traditional color work request/gift for MirraW301 of deviantArt of her Mewthree Aurolix with Mewtwo.
While she had asked for this a little while back I wasn't really able to work on it, and figured to save this over for something for Christmas as well. Concept from her was something simple, and aiming for romantic with my opting for Mewtwo to basically being fascinated with her face and some stereotypical anime flying feather things.
Eventually this will be mailed off to her so she can have the real deal, and as such, I had to make sure it was done with traditional media. Of course I'm also a major idiot and ended up using the worst paper possible (card stock, which often I fair well with). By the 6th pass I was getting major flaking of the paper, so had to leave the background as watercolors and the characters as pencil crayons, much to my disappointment. In the end this was intended to be more or less a quickie, small and meant to fit in a letter (it's the size of a standard postcard).
