All the doodles and designs I been doing, very few making it onto this site, are finally amounting to something. I did a quick redesign on Douceline and changed her background to work as a character in the comic. Now she's just french decent rather than actually being french.
She's still goth, but a little more mild in terms of the clothes I was going to have her wear in other art. She's a metal and industrial fan that has a bleak outlook on life, so she's a little more broad in personality than the original in some ways. It lends to some story points that were discussed with other people involved.
I included in her look something I scrapped from the original Douceline when I made her, that barrette in her hair there and her ear peircings.
She'll be wearing a little less make-up unless she's going to a club of some sort. She'll still have the collection of gothic apparel I had in mind for her, but that will also be a club sort of thing.
