Gawd, I finally decide to get off my ass and scan this...this was done, like a week ago.
As you can see, it's
CodArk2's character, Serith, dressed in armour that I'm sure everyone will reconize. ;) And if you don't...where the hell have you been? o.-.O
I made this during the time before Halo 3 was released. I'm hoping Halo 3 is still a hot item... I drew CodArk2 like this because he said he loves video games, and I've tried so many different types of games, and none of them worked. So far this one has.
I don't know much about Halo, except for a few things. I've never played it, but I've watched my sister's ex-boyfriend play it. I also cannot draw armour, guns, burning debri falling from the sky, and obviously those sticky glowy grenades. I made a few obvious mistakes with the grenade... I used so many references on how to draw the Elite there, the gun, and that other weapon...
I can't overcritize myself over the armour. It's actually not too bad, but that leg...ugh...awful. Please no crit on that...I know it doesn't look right.
I like the way I got his expression. :D
I dunno why, but I feel like saying the word "EPIC." X3
Crap, it's 2am! DX *falls asleep* ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.......

I never played any of the Halo games, but I like doing my research, plus I love watching parodies of Master Chief/Halo stuff. :P
I remember seeing the trailer for Halo 3. I got friggin' goosebumps! o.-.o The graphics! The detail! Ah! *faints from the incredible use of detailed graphics* x.-.X

Background set the battlefield atmosphere rather precisely, and I do adore dragon snarl ;3
A jet of gunfire should have been a bit more fluffier, and I share your frustration with drawing guns, especially in perspective v.v

I glowy stuff. ^.-.^ Even if it means I hafta really concentrate when I put in glowy stuff.
I was told by my sister's ex-boyfriend to draw in a turned over car or something, but I usually like to keep my backgrounds basic and less detailed. The debri falling from the sky was the last thing I drew in before I started colouring. :P I had to add some kind of action going on, other than what's going on in the foreground.
Yeah, I am rather proud of that dragon snarl. ^.-.^ The last facial expression wasn't working out well (a battle cry expression), but this kind worked out better than I thought. :P
Yeah, I should probably watch more movies that show gunfire or something, to get a sense of what they look like...

Honestly, I just typed in "Halo weapons" on DA and found something. It was supposedly a weapon from the game... :\ I didn't make it exactly like the artist did, luckily, so I'm not technically stealing...I hope. o.-.o D:

Halo 3 will kick ass for years to come. There's even a new trilogy set in the Halo universe being worked on by Bungie and Peter Jackson. Yes, the guy who directed Lord of the Rings. 8D

Yay! So glad you like it! ^.-.^ I've never actually played the games, but I've done my research, plus I love watching parodies and whatnot that has anything to do with Master Chief or just Halo in general. :P (I saw an episode of Red vs. Blue. Hilarious. XD)
Yeah, I really wanted that determined, angry face. The kind of face where you're put out in the middle of a battlefield, and you're the last soldier left on a field of hundreds of your sworn enemies. I tried drawing the face letting out a battle cry, but it didn't work out like I wanted. But the end result of what I got worked out fine. :)
