Well...... there's one major thing that bugs me about this.... that you can see his eyes and eyebrows through the hair like that. It just seems weird ya know, the hair just stopp'n like that above the eyes, then start'n up again below the eyes.
Don't get me wrong, it's a really nice pic, the hair thing is just a little pet peeve of mine and personally think if you ditched the eyees and the eyebrows it would look a lot cooler. I mean, I could be wrong, but it kinda looks like yo put them on as an afterthought anyways. Don't hurt me for my opinion lmao

I know what you mean. But it's a thing that's often used in Animes too. I have many character with long hair, covering their eyes entirely. But the eyes are one of the mot expressive things. The hair adds something to the pics too. And to put both into one pic and make it look good, this is the only way. I still try to figure out another way. Maybe I will one day find one.

If I may make a suggestion, draw it to where you can see the hair over it, but kinda have it a bit translucent. That way the hair is still where it's suppose to be, and you can still see the eyes underneath.
Who knows, it could be worth a shot.
