Thankyou so much! I involved a lot of emotion into the background on this piece. First a layer of watercolor, then a rough scribble here and there with some color pencils. My biggest fear was the wolf not fitting in with his background very well. He was almost completely marker with a few traces of color pencil to blend him in better.
It definitely means a lot to me that you like it that much!
