cause this is her xmas gift and i want it to be a surprise.
the scarf is made of fleece and my god evidently my machine hates fleece. every other fabric i've run through it (flannel, denim, faux fur, minky... even leather) is fine after minor adjustments. this was just a nightmare of snarls, snags, tangles, tearing thread and just argh it was such a pain. it was made slightly worse by people trying to tell me the problem was things i had obviously tried already (different thread, adjusting the tension) so MAN THIS WAS QUITE A PAIN. but i think it turned out pretty well.
if you too would like a pokeyman scarf just note me. i'll be glad to make them for around 30$.
