At the start of the year I asked my friend and fellow artist, Azadeth if he'd be interested in an art trade. Happily he was, and this is the piece I did for him. The character he chose is called "Kira" - she was the first of his spider anthro species, which now seems to have become his trademark.
I love his version, but I have obviously captured her with my own style here. She is lovely, alluring and mysterious, and shown in this picture on the cusp of maturity. Spider puberty - I hope it's less distressing than the human kind, or a lot of spider boys are going to get their heads bitten off (and I hardly have to say that I mean that literally).

*blush* The flattery continues! Sure, let me know when your schedule is clear and we can arrange something then.
As for Kira, well all of the credit goes to Azadeth for designing such a great character. I don't think I could have ever come up with such a pretty girl based on a bug. =^_^=
