Pearl's a strong woman, and takes shit from no man!

IMPORTANT: The Second to Last Panel is either Pearl's Opinion or a Joke she's telling. It in no way reflects Feminists. The comic is pretty much saying that it's crap to ask someone out for being pretty, that you should instead ask people out if you have things in common with you.

eating a guy who's never talked to you before just because he didn't know a particular detail about you (your lifestyle, etc.) is bitch worthy behavoir imo. as critical as she's being chances are she didn't know that person any better than they knew her and just got offended that he never considered she might be a lesbian. that Feminist view and superiority complex just tells me she treats all guys in general like crap, therefore bitch.
No, You're missing the point. He asked her out, because she was sexy to him! That's what provoked Pearl to eat him! That's a Jackass thing to do!
Pearl is a loud person, and might've said aloud in the class that she was gay, which is why she was more offended that he didn't remember.
Now, you're correct on the final note, she does treat men like Crap, because she views them as perverted horn dogs (though she's no better, hypocrite).
Would you prefer she ate him for no reason, like most vore scenarios?

Most people would see getting asked out as a compliment. As for him not remembering, I can say from experience if something doesn't pertain to them most people don't bother paying attention to what other people say because it isn't any of their business. Especially if that person makes a habit of ranting and going off on a regular basis. It's nothing to get angry about.
I havent' really had an issue with the other scenarios because I can respect everyone has their own fetishes, a lot of the characters in your vore scenario's enjoy getting eaten to begin with and those that don't are typically there to further the plot of whatever is going on. This was just an unnecessary kill, that I have a no tolerance for this sort of feminism and hypocrisy doesn't help the matter.

I think I'm going to have to agree with draeg on this. At least with the context given in the panel, there's no indication that the guy is being a sleazy/sexist/chauvinistic/etc jerk at all. If there was more context given to show that, then it would make sense (still an extreme response obviously, but that's kind of the point of these fantasy scenarios :p and, indeed there are plenty of stories/comics/etc in a similar vein that are centered around the guy being a jerk and getting what's coming to him -so to speak, and in most of those cases, it's the guy who shoots his mouth off before getting it, rather than barely saying a thing).
It's pretty normal to let physical attraction be a deciding factor in taking interest in someone . . . after all, before talking to them (and getting to know them) that's pretty much all you can get. (and physical/"superficial" characteristics could go beyond visual appearance too -he could have observed some of her habits, voice, general mannerisms, etc in-class)
On top of that, her very first offended outburst was regarding her being gay, which in itself is (largely) tied to preferences in physical appearance/characteristics. :p
And, again, there's no further context to the whole thing, and he's not really given a chance to explain or defend himself. With the way this is depicted, I'd find it perfectly believable that the guy does know a fair bit about her beyond just that she "looks sexy" to him. (assuming he knew her from school, it's likely he'd observed her mannerisms, voice, speech habbits, some of her personality -or at least what she projected in public- and such) It's perfectly understandable to know someone decently well on a casual school/work basis, but still have no (or only a vague) idea about their sexual preferences, or whether they're single or not for that matter. (the latter could have resulted in a similarly awkward scenario for that matter)
He could just have been a nice guy who finally worked up the nerve to talk to her (possibly shy), but maybe jumped the gun a bit by asking her out (with flowers in hand) before even casually introducing himself. The fact he's momentarily struck mute kind of points to a shy disposition too, and the little he does get to say is done in an awkward/shy/submissive manner. (rather than the typical jerk mouthing off in spite off at her in spite of his obvious physical disadvantage in the situation)
Again, he could be a jerk, but there's simply no indication of that in the comic (he barely gets a word in), and it just makes Pearl seem like a bigoted jerk making massive assumptions and judgements about the poor guy without giving him any chance to respond.

Looking sharp! Was fun watching you work on this. Panel 14 is probably my favorite. She looks so proud of herself. Also, this almost applies here.
No, it's not. The reality is that 98% of all successful relationships start when two people are physically attracted to each other go out on a date. Romantic love is fuelled by a high amount of physical attraction and a low (but often essential) amount of morality/personality attraction. As love cools there is an increase in the amount of physical attraction needed to warm it up again. The fact is that love starts with looks and evolves as similarity is found.
I started out writting a rebuttal to what you just said, but I thought back to a recent event in my life. About a month ago a friend of mine set me up on a blind date with a woman named Nicole, who he thought would be a good match for me. We went to a club and spent most of the night talking and found that we had a quite a bit in common. Eventually we went out to the dance floor and began dancing. During one of the songs she turned towards me and kissed me, and I kissed her back. In that moment I began to feel a bulge in her groin pressing up against me, and after she broke the kiss I took her aside and calmly told her that I had felt the buldge. She admitted to me that she was a transexual, and that she had been born "Nicholas", but had taken hormone therapy to change her body to a more feminine one. She also told me that she still had her penis because she couldn't bring herself to have it removed, as it was a part of her body and she was afraid that a sex change surgery would disfigure her down there. She told me that she liked me and that she was afraid that I might not like her if I knew, so she hadn't told me before. Without thinking about what I was doing I pulled her close and kissed her. I told her that I didn't care about her penis, and told her that I was just surprised by it. We have been on 4 dates since then, and I call her every day to see how she's doing. You are correct to say that looks aren't the only reason to date someone, because had I known she was a transexual I may not have dated her, and I would have missed out on all of her warmth and fun.
With the last post I wasn't arguing, I was saying that I understand and agree with your viewpoint, while with my first post I was trying to argue against your viewpoint.
1st post: argument against your viewpoint
2nd post: long story showing how I agree with your viewpoint

He knows she's in french class at least? Believe it or not, looks play the most role until you are able to GET further information. Interest doesn't mean 'wanna bang'. It also doesn't mean looks are everything. Just means 'Hey that person looks fun'
Let's say you meet a person every week in school or at work, in a different class/department. You have no chance of talking because you have to just do your work and get going to other classes/departments after that. You gotta ask that person out to get to know them better, don't ya? It's a date anyway, if you are sexually attracted to that person or don't, if you ask someone to come somewhere that's a date :P

I know this is a bit out, but I just came across it and wanted to throw my two cents in. In my opinion looks and personality matter equally. I would date someone who I didn't find attractive or dislike their personality. That being said a goo hand full of relationship happen before someone happens to see someone they find attractive and like to get to know them more.
I don't know how to argue against that without sounding sexist... BUT here we go!
Confident women are... okay, I guess?
I can see the appeal in a confident woman. But when women take time to make themselves look attractive, yet find it offensive when men call them "sexy", it sends conflicting signals.

Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
NEVER!!! Actually thinking about the original it was not even that good. I believe it was "You should at least learn enough about a girl to know if asking here out would be stupid or get you devoured." But didn't want some meta-fight on the proper level of knowledge to attain on a person to erupt from a horrible attempt at humor.
Also be glad you are not a cat, that curiosity stuff can kill ya.
I need to work on better jokes...

The funny thing is that this in of itself is pretty sexist and rude. I would not react in such an extreme way and honestly neither will most women/feminists. There are some crazies out there, but obviously they are very few. I do find it rude when people ask others out only based off of looks. I will never date someone whom does not know me personally at least a little bit because I feel that looks have nothing to do with a person.
I'll just elaborate a little more here. The issue I see with that ranking you're giving the comic is based off the character's actions and morals.
Pearl the Eevee is a sexist and somewhat extremist asshole, and the point of the comic is about how she uses her broken morals to justify her treatment of the smaller person. But your ranking seems to be based off how the character having broken morals makes the comic bad inherently (as in the fictional media has a character that is a bad person, therefore the fictional media is bad)
You say it would be a 9/10 if it didn't have Pearl acting like Pearl, and if the comic was about something else. So it's a 2/10 because it's not a different comic.

Look, I don't care if she's a lesbian or not, if she likes women that's fine but I hate extreme feminists, with almost all my being, Men are not tools, nor are women, but I already disliked her (yes, I know it's just art, I'm not criticizing that, just the personality of that eevee, the style and the rest I still like, this drawing looks great).
