Looks good for focus, but you've got a bit of RGB clipping. Note Geo's shirt has clipped to peak white and Meds' fur is solid red instead of showing the fur pattern.

Next time try turning on Highlight Tone Priority (it's a Custom Function on the camera). This tweaks the camera's tone-curve to preserve highlight detail.

If you set the camera to save the raw (.CR2) files you can do something similar -- load them into Canon's Digital Photo Professional app (which comes with the camera) and tweak the sliders. If you have Photoshop, Adobe Camera RAW will do a similar (possibly better) job via the "Recovery" slider.
