For Kathy, my real-life wife. Her beautiful character.
I will freely admit I find the Kathy the Anthro-Dragoness character intensely sexy (her athletic shapely body, those legs, that butt . . . as my character is wont to say, "grawrrawwr!"), but since she is based on my wife (who I find even sexier, as she is a real person and my soul-mate) I know where to draw the line so I don't get too carried away.
Her proportions in this one are almost 100% as I imagine, and are based on Kathy's actual proportions with lots more muscle. Long before I met Kathy she had a toned, athletic body not too different from this one (disregarding the dragonish parts, obviously). And yes, this character and her genetically engineered species, is a mammal. (Long story . . .) One of these days I'm going to draw a picture of her with a pregnant, swollen belly. Might be nice.
I originally intended this to be nude, but since I did 99% of this on work break in plain view of everyone (cafeteria) I changed my mind early on. I will likely do detailed nude versions (without the group shot) of both her and Pauly the Anthro-Dragon in the future. (Although 95% of the time P-the-AD is completely nude with concealed genitalia as he hates clothes---he is a free spirit and something of an extroverted exhibitionist!)
In the "group shot"---to be improved when I finish the the ref sheets of Pat-the-AD (just started) and Pauly-the-AD (not even begun)---the height proportions are accurate, except for the one with Patrick and his character. both should be larger, and the real Pat doesn't have a pea-head. I should mention cramming that much detail into such a small area was a major pain, and I mostly messed up on the faces . . . oh well. I've learned to appreciate those artists from bygone pre-photography centuries who specialized in painting tiny cameos (worn in locket pins close to the heart) in unerring detail.

Thanks . . . they were not supposed to be able to interbreed, because the whole idea of genetically engineering physically/mentally/genetically superior "sports" is anathema to the full-sized dragons of the forthcoming novel sequence, who despite being extremely advanced have certain ethics they follow to the core. If they were not driven to desperation (as they and their human and Yourubi allies will be in the fourth and fifth novels) they would have never ever permitted. But since all subspecies are critically endangered by this time, and their alliance is being soundly defeated and driven from one part of the galaxy to another, this is the one time they permit the emergency clause when their own species survival is in doubt.
The resulting anthro-dragons will be weaker, less stable and uglier than the "sports", but they will breed true, breed rather quickly, and also have the added ability of breeding sterile offspring with any of the three "parental" species (human, dragon, even the Yourubi whose primary role is to provide a stabilizing vector which allows the impossible to be possible---the fusion of human and dragon genetic codes.) The resulting genetically engineered armies temporarily turn the tides of war, enough time for the grand conclusion of the novel sequence to occur.
Now none of these three---Pauly the Anthro-Dragon, Kathy the Anthro-Dragoness, Patrick the Anthro-Dragon---will be in the novel sequence. Rather than remaining as lab subjects and in a galaxy torn by a civil war that basically started as one human family's infighting, pauly and Kathy decide to opt out on their own free will, and leave. They eventually re-discover each other, fall in love, and completely contrary to their genetic programming---they become natural parents to Patrick. Although both Pauly and Kathy could kick serious ass in a battle, he is entirely too goofy. And nothing ruins SF/fantasy movies and books more than little kids---I don't want to repeat George Lucas's ridiculous "Ani" and JarJar mistakes.
I need to make the height comparison thingie a bit better in the next one, mainly because I messed up on a lot of the really small details, and the perspectives of Patrick/Patrick the Anthro-Dragon are wrong. The height differences between Kathy/Kathy the Anthro-Dragoness, and me/Pauly the Anthro-Dragon are accurate.
