I often play Pokemon when I'm bored and working overseas. There is not much of any where to go when you are on a ship so my Nintendo DS has kept me busy for many years and the Gameboy before that. I get a little bit of flak from the other adults but I don't care. One of my favorite pokemon is Absol and I've bred mine to be particularly mean with moves like Night Slash, Megahorn, Perish Song, and Psycho Cut. I also have some really good pokemon catching Absol that have False Swipe, Mean Look, and Night Slash.

Anyways, I saw this artist while browsing the deviant art sites and thought that the artist made some really good realistic pokemon. Some of them are scary. I wasn't quite satisfied with the Absol seen in the artist's gallery so I commissioned to have a realistic Absol on details I think would make a real looking Absol. I thought it came out pretty cool. Yes, I know it has three eyes but I thought that would be symbolic since the cartoon version has a oval and the third eye could be representative of seeing into the future and forewarning of disaster. You can see the other Absol pic on the artist's site so I'll let you decide which one you like best. What do you think? Does this come off as the harbinger pokemon of Doom?
