Injected with the virus, this North American dragon grows and changes to a much larger and monster-ish appearance. Rest assured he flew to a desert or mountain range as his body changed. Gradually he's growing bigger and becoming more monster-ish, yet seems like he's keeping his mind and his dragon-ish appearance.

Other than looking scarier and hairier its hard to say he looks "kaiju size" unless there is something for size comparison. But that's just me being picky since I think a background or object is needed to really tell if something is big or not.
