I use a kind of glue that is a sealant as well. Beside the fact that it protects the model and makes it look smoother it's also shiny.

Wait, isn't this Chillrend from Oblivion? the unique glass sword you get for helping that guy's kids kill all the goblins attacking his farm? :D

No, we're talking Skyrim here. Oblivion glass swords are much less elaborate and have a straight blade. Besides, Chillrend (in both Oblivion and Skyrim) is made of blue glass, instead of the usual green.

Chillrend is in Skyrim as well...part of the Thieves Guild when you get inside Mercer's house.

Now don't you go tell me that I don't know what I built.

The blade may appear blue because the photo is slightly badly lit. The model is also too dark (something I will have to fix in the future).

probably the most amazing and beautiful sword I have ever seen. While it wouldn't last long in combat. It makes the perfect decoration. Top notch work.

Haha definitely not. All I did was take someone else's stuff and work it into a papercraft. I can't take all the credit.
