Trekkie, the alpha male arctic wolf of our small pack, checking out a gourd that's had a whitetail deer tail attached to it as enrichment. This expression says clearly that he thinks something's not quite right, but it's interesting anyhow.
The deer-gourd was created by animal keeper staff as enrichment for the wolves during our "Pumpkin Prowl" public event recently.

we will definitely be at FWA though! and visit afterwards again if it's okay :)
my business kind of exploded in the past year so I never had time to do things for charity for CCI, but I will have a bunch of awesome stuff to bring you guys at FWA
and oh boy I would stay away from skunks ha, I wouldn't ever want to try and taxidermy one

Hahah! Yes, I doubt we'd ever have a random skunk tail lying about (thankfully). And waaaaat?! You almost came??! Dang, grrrl, you should have come! It was a great time. Busy for us, but the folks holding the tickets seemed to have fun. And the white tiger beer was reportedly pretty awesome, too.
'mI glad the business is booming! And of course we're looking forward to whatever emerges for the Center, whenever, and if ever. You've got to run the business successfully as a priority, of course! I never did buy a fox skull from you, either ... Maybe at FWA. Funny how time gets away from you!
And hopefully this time we'll be back when you visit. Last year, Frank/Kamots and I stayed to break down the enclosure and missed your visit. I was pouty about that, but oh well. :)
