(If you like this picture you can COMMISSION ME!)
As part of moving my website to a different size format I have to also update all of the character banners that are currently around. There are 19 in total. While some of these were easy to do since I still had the .psd files and the characters in them would work well for banners, not all the characters have had the same treatment. This is especially so for the Sailor Moon and Digimon ones, but also applies to a few of the stand alone characters, like my Pokemon one, Sunkissed.
Sunkissed are one of the proper Pokemon species I have. The others are the Sharimy (a type of tiger shark) and the Poltereon (ghost type Eevee evolution). The one I draw I've nicknamed "Passion" which is identified by the peach hued gems she wears and their particular shape. It varies per Sunkissed. The right design is actually not legitimate. Found out that inverting the colors of Sunkissed was a fun thing many, many years ago, and I'm in the mood for a lot of split images lately so hence the shiny, or dark, or evil what have you "Sunkissed".
How to make this was really easy. Draw the body parts on a few different layers, then copy them over and color adjust. So saves the time on actually drawing and coloring and shading the things twice. Background was only difficult until I figured out what I wanted and which of my pictures were to be used as the stock for it. Most of this was just drawing, and shading and so on. Nothing complicated at all, very simple character. (Simple minded thing too. Next to Vaporeon, Sunkissed is officially my dumbest personality by far.)
(This is available in a 1024x768 wallpaper format.)
(And also, because someone already mentioned it... Sunkissed was made in 2001. This is not some weird interpretation of the whole My Little Pony, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna or Nightmare Moon inspired thing. MLP Brony fans, shut it.)
