Found this crawling in my kitchen.

Hard to get the whole thing in focus...kind of a long bug...and fast moving.

i read they call it a Jerusalem cricket... and it is as harmless as it is.. err big! i must have given the poor thing a heart attack with my girly screaming!

horror stories from back when I was young.

I used to live in a place that was filled with these shits, and my dad wouldn't do anything to get rid of them so I started having nightmares about them cutting me up and whatnot.

I know.

just like most bugs I encounter.

but as soon as I see one in my home, I turn into a sissy as long as the thing lives. I really wish I had more balls to just get them out of my home instead of killing them. I dunno why but they seem to have fun, walking and flying around.

I always found them cute little buggars, though I think I may have a mild allergy to them
Whenever there's one around and I pick it up by the pincers to put it outside, red spots form on my fingers-and this is when they hadn't even gotten the chance to pinch me!
