I really like the contrasts here, primarily in the tension surrounding Twilight. There's a sort of repressed affection here that's turned violent and tense. And yet there's a rest about it. Sweet.

Oh, I wasn't thinking you were planning out all these layers of colliding emotions; these things just happen based on a few ideas. But that won't stop me from spotting these matters (at least in my own perspective). Anyway the expressions work - it makes for successful ponying.
