I drew something!?
Seems I did yes. This drawing is a little gift for my best friend, Zach. The pretty young vixen you see here is Glow, one of his characters. If I were to colour this, the darker parts of her fur would be black, the medium grey would be blue, and the rest would be white. Who knows, I may actually do it someday!
I started with this drawing earlier this month, while I was actually supposed to be studying. Tried so many new things in this drawing, like using different pencils than usual, new way of drawing hair, putting more effort into adding facial details, etc. Also tried to actually do something with the ugly whitespace that one usually finds on my pencil drawings. Instead of simply leaving it like that or replacing it entirely (like my previous drawing), I went for an almost parchment-like look. Definitely puts more focus onto the drawing. I might make future drawings look the same way. (Might even use PNG transparency and actually put tears and folds into the edges on certain drawings!)
Oh, and that backpack she's holding is actually based off the one that I have. It's a Fox backpack! I thought it'd be funny to include that. It's also my first attempt at drawing a backpack.
I'm rather pleased with this drawing, worked pretty damn hard on this, and I enjoyed every moment of it!
