I saw the sketch and I had to colour it. It's the way most of my work goes these days =)
The latex effect took ages to look right...and I'm not sure it completely does...finding stuff for the background took ages too. It turned out nothing like I'd hoped...but it's still good in it's own way =D
The background is actually from my holiday to Cyprus earlier this year. The rock slightly obscured by Sally is Aphrodite's Rock, the rock that marks the goddess Aphrodite's birth place in the mediterranian.

A very interestingly bright picture from your side, I know you done few of them before, but their pretty uncommon. The sky is pretty well sorted compared to others and also... the hair. I'm so certain you most have been inspired by me and my fursonas pretty hair, right? Btw, I learned some thing very interesting in art class, which makes me so fond of this pic when knowing this. Blue is color of calm and relax, so now you know that!
