I hope I can post it soon... Btw, do you find the switches between perspectives confusing? (for instance, is it hard to guess who's "talking" at the beginning of the second section, right after the three stars that split the chapter in two?)

Not really, no.

Good, there was someone on dA who thought I should stick to Tails's POV, but I really can't do that. (seeing as she's not the only one in the story, and doesn't see everything that happens... Duh...) Sometimes I make things too "unspoken" but I didn't think I did here...
Maybe my stories just require a teensy bit of work from the reader.

I really, really like this. :D It's got such a nice perspective to it, and you're taking full advantage of all of the emotions conveyed that I would think would be associated with something like this. I can't help but feel sorry for the girl, yet... I want to read more. Much more.

I'm happy! ^^ It's a relief to know the perspective works, because one guy on dA found it confusing and thought I should stick to one perspective only (but everything doesn't happen to the same person, I tried to argue... plus I pretty much got it this way. If I'm looking out through Knuckles's eyes, that's the perspective I have to use!)
The whole start of this was the emotions that I felt would come out of the situation, that's what made me want to write it.
...You'll probably feel even more sorry for her when I get the second part up.

I hope to be able to, really! I'd like to know what people think of the rest... I sketched most of the rest of the story, I just need to write it fully ;) This bit came easier; the other one contains more plot, and that's not my strong side XD
