Wow, haven't had one of these in a while! Here's a Ring1234 commission of another character of mine, a half-demon (on his mother's side) swordsman named Cornelius (Corey to his friends). Despite his apparent youth, he is a skilled and powerful fighter. His weapon is a Demonsbane sword, forged around the soul of a sacrificed demon and bonded specifically to him, allowing him to battle and absorb the powers of defeated demons to use as his own: he's named it "Fred." Really, this kind of sums up his personality, doesn't it?

Yeah, he's kind of a Dante-like character. In my defense, he didn't start that way, he just kind of grew into the role of a irreverent cocky guy who can actually back up his talk who has an easily seeable heart of gold, and a magical sword able to absorb and use demonic powers was too fun to not give to him. For the record, the coat doesn't last long: I intend for it to get completely and utterly thrashed in short order after joining the story proper, and he ends up having to find a replacement for it. And I have a far more badass character in mind for the badass overcoat… >:)

As for Corey here, I'm planning another commission involving him as he is at the time the story proper starts. Not sure who to do it yet… hmmmm.

Oh, and for those who remember him, Nick is in the same story that Corey's in. They're actually adventuring partners. And Nick needs a redesign too.
