The Winter's Campaign was a winter campaign which lasted about 3 years, with the Sevon Empire and the Grand Empire of the Cardinal Chancellors warring against some islands up north
it was the first war in which the diamond, or "syringe" bayonet was used, along with the first attempt at an iron sight ever made
the rifle itself was far from accurate, and the lack of strength of the iron sights meant that they always bent and proved useless after roughly a month in service
It was called the Winter's Campaign since the main commanding general of the long-ass name defunct Empire, Ottiryos Winters, planned to attack on winter with proper supplies, so as to cause attrition
worked slightly better, but still failed
