Second contest prize for fenrixion. She asked me to paint her awesome dragon character, Rune.
The prize was originally going to be a digital waist-up badge. Now, my badges usually include pencil lines and are painted in a much simpler style than this, but I decided to up the detail here because I liked the painting so much. I love playing around with sunrise colors, you guys. ^^ It was fun to play around with some unusual lighting as well.
Fen was also super lenient with the prize and let me rework Rune's armor into something a bit more practical. I've never redesigned fantasy armor before, so that was a pretty neat experience. Coming up with a sword design was pretty neat as well.

Yeah, I'm not too sure about private commissions. I *probably* won't make more than minimum wage on them, and I don't know how many people would be interested in them. I've opened for cheap commissions in the past and no one responded so... *shrug*
