Scimitar's 'parents' aka genetic donors, Logan Leonardi and another cloneblade, Ixia.

Her human name, back when she thought she was human, was Jasmine. Her Blade was embedded in her skull, between her eyebrows. She was part of a set of five different Cloneblades where they experimented on various forms of the manacle. Ring, bracelet(left hand), necklace, bindi, and bellyring. Each was actually embedded in the bone, under the flesh and had little to no detection by outside forces. Each were kept under close external observation.

Logan Leonardi comes in here. He was on duty as undercover watchman. He enrolled in the local college to keep an eye on the five unknowing participants of the experiment. When the Organization received the data they required, they were to pull the plug. During the 'extermination', Logan had a change of heart and helped the girls get to safety.

He destroyed all the data, years of work flushed down the tubes. As retaliation, his higher ups(one specific scientist) used an unfinished Cloneblade on him. The weapon merged to him immediately and the bloodlust almost drove him into insanity. Ixia removed the corrupting weapon the only way she could, by slicing off his forearm.

They went off the grid, but not before leaving substantial amount of DNA at the scene. The experiments continue and their, 'daughter' is now the one under observation.
