In High School, I had a bunch of friends, but two friends really stood out.
Pencil the Kappa and Poncho the Tanuki, we would do everything together and did a bunch of crazy stuff. We all were in A/V club together.

Pencil was a captain of the chess team and a mathlete. We wore polo shirts, a pocket protector, and big thick glasses. He was a nerd, but he was cool. If it wasn't for his help studying, I wouldn't have past calculus. He was a little quiet, but a genius.

I, KitsuneKit, video game expert extraordinare was the defacto leader of the group. I didn't exactly ask to the be leader, they just kinda made me the leader. I came up with the general idea of craziness that we were going to pull off that day, which was normally goofing off, but we also pulled off more complex jobs.

Poncho was the craziest Tanuki I've ever met. He was a master comedian and very handy with a fire arm. He provided the supplies for anything that we were going to do that day. He also provided information about stuff that neither me nor Pencil knew anything about, like dating tips and legal issues. If anything I would have to say that he was my best best friend throughout high school.

Unfortunately, after high school we all went our separate ways. Pencil went off to a big name college and Poncho joined the Army and is now stationed in Germany. I miss them, they were great pals, but I'm sure one day the "Kitsune Krew" will get back together.
