So here's the story.

This is the first yarn tail I ever actually finished. It took me SO long and I was so proud of it when I was finished but I had decided to go with a different color scheme for my fursona and I wanted to practice a little more before I tackled my own tail.

This tail ended up with a friend. I went to visit her last week and I asked her to get it out so I could see how it held up.

I was surprised to find how loose everything was. The braid was too loose and the knots were too far apart and as you can sort of tell the whole thing is just completely crooked. It made me realize how far I've come with this craft and how much I improved after so much time. So it's not a perfect tail but I'm still proud of it because it symbolizes the time and effort I've put into becoming better.

Also the saleswoman in me can't help but point out how well it's stood up against two years of time. It definitely needed a brush when my friend got it out of her closet but after about 5 minutes of grooming it was back to being smooth and shiny. :D
