This photo was taken by the Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida.
This is a picture that was taken of Chance several days ago. His eye was removed, and other eye is healing nicely (apparently it had some issues that weren't visible)! The rescue that claimed him renamed him Parker, and he's gained 4lbs since being rescued by me, and taken to the shelter.
<3
He's currently here, and will remain there until someone adopts him. (Hopefully me...)

My mom's boyfriend was gonna leave for work, and when he opened the door, Chance was standing on the small "welcome mat," because the concrete floors in our breezeways were really arfing cold. In Florida, the humidity makes it seem bone-chillingly cold, even when it's 65 degrees out.
He was extremely emaciated, and had a severely infected eye that I knew he was gonna lose as soon as I saw him. I wrapped him up in warm dry towels, took him home, fed him, and called the shelter for a pick up. <3 I cried when they took him away, because he was so damn sweet!
We'd actually lost track of him for a few days because the rescue had picked him up, and (in short) some of the shelter call ladies are rude.

I hope so too, but pet food and vet bills are expensive, and I'm jobless for the time being. Not to mention I have 3 caged rodents.
If I had a stable income through commissions, I wouldn't have as much of a problem, but as it stands, the odds of me getting him are slim </3 especially because he's an ungodly distance away at the rescue.

Me too! I'm super sad they're so far away though! </3
He really was sweet for the short time I had him curled up on my living room floor. Poor baby was cold, wet, starving, and in pain! He's doing much better now though (thank goodness!)

My second boston isn't much a rescue, though the family we got her from couldnt care for her properly and luckily lived right down the road. She's a little road chunky butt but we love her xD
If anything she has the worst gas problems x.x
Her names Daisy, when the previous owners found her, it was storming. She actually found them. They're front door was open while the storm was raging and Daisy ran into their house and hid in the corner. Their other dogs cornered her and just watched her. They had her for a few months. She's still terrified of storms (sad someone could just leave a dog out like that) but I just love Boston Terriers and figuring out people have a rescue dedicated to them here in my home state! If you keep him, I would love to know. Since you're doing such a good job just being a friend to him c':
