we had found that it was the modem itself and now have one from the cable company. Though sometimes it can be as simple as the wires connecting. Another time it had been the router.

I guess saying all three of those doesn't really help XP

thats the same thing what is wrong with my internet my router runs off of my sisters modem and her modem is always going off she has the internet as well so when she wants to go on the internet she goes on mine were waiting for a new modem :)

Aye, I can definitely understand that, it used to be that way when I was younger and the net was quite a new thing. Would have to fight with my younger brother in order to be able to go online as well as have computer time, so I know how annoying siblings can be, it'll get better as time goes on...sometimes.

Though years ago when my brother and I would fight, I started a system of whoever started the fight puts money in a jar and the one who started the least amount of fights got all of the jar. My brother got sick of losing money so he stopped starting fights XP

well it has gotten better through the years but we still fight and she still drives me mad!!!
