An artic fox presents a very special friend with a present. I don't remember precisely what species of bird this is; I think she's a lark of some kind - apparently one that's critically endangered, and so rare even I'd never heard tell of it before...

I like the bird. (Except for some of those feathers on her far wing. NEVER SNEEZE WHILE INKING: BAD THINGS HAPPEN.) The fox came out okay, I think, though his legs are too skinny. :P

Another Otakon 2007 commission. (Artist Alley was ridiculously dark, so the photos turned out ridiculously dark and blurry, but ah well...)
