What media did you use on this painting? Acrylic? I'm trying to find a better medium to get detail with. I am so use to drawing with pencil, ink, and charcoal that it's hard for me to get the same type of detail with using oil paints. All my oil paintings end up being surreal.
I did this one all digitally (with a sketch in mechanical pencil) though I did it with a set of brushes I made in Photoshop from some strokes of india ink. I love working traditionally though so I tried to emulate it some, nothing beats working with real materials! :D
