So here's a closeup of the fletching I did for the arrow. The feathers are black dyed turkey feathers attached using deer sinew and hide glue. I still need a bit of work with fletching, but at least they're starting to lie a bit straighter on the arrow shaft. I think I need about four hands to get it all right :-P

Where do you get deer sinew and hide glue?
We have a lot of wild turkeys here who are always dropping beautiful feathers. I should save some in case I want to try something like this
