hmm. looks pretty nice. but There is one issue with this, shouldn't the portal blocks be one part? either way. i like the appearance of the obsidian.

you mean the corner blocks? They can be any blocks. 10 blocks is all you need to make a portal :3
the corners do not matter ^^

no. as in the actual portal blocks. the 6 nether portal blocks would form one image... similar to how paintings work. Rite?

well, they are 6 blocks tiled together to look liek they are one block, i tried that ^^;
