This is one of the two large show pieces I did for the RAW Art Show in September 2012. This is one of the largest dragons I have done in a very long time. Its also among the most elaborate beasts I have done in a dog's age. It was also a lot of fun. I tried out several ideas I had had to make this a very complicated piece, most notably the bead work on the spine.

The figure is wire core with fabric skin. The horns, claws and tail are (primarily) wire. The facial ornament is a re-purposed earring. All other ornamentation is seed beads on wire.
