Both are good ideas, but I like this particular one best as an introductory pic to the audience, since it shows first and foremost they aren't sure of what they're getting into, but are still willing to come together to prevent others from going through what they did as slaves.
Oooh, that has potential. Perhaps a small team that specializes in capturing escaped Trackers. We could even throw in some history between potential members and the Foragers here to make the rivalry more intense, like if some of the members already clashed while they were all Trackers, or if they knew a member personally before the escape.
