Another oldie, done before Mark of a Coward.

This starts up in the middle of a RP storyline. So to simplify things.....

Aaron (main character) had lost his future mate, Ilona after she had been captured by a vermin horde. Well.. some stuff happens, a chase ensues and Aaron learns from a hordebeast that Ilona is dead. Thought the credibility of that claim is doubtable, Aaron can't help but wonder if it's really true. Thus the setting of the story, the night after the news...
