My original fursona has recently been gone through a liiiittle bit of a color scheme alteration. If you're not already familiar with my fursona, Awtek, he is the orange dog fursuit that appears a LOT in my gallery. Awtek's character is a reflection of the years I've spend living in the Bahamas and the pure happiness I felt while I was there. he also is based off of a registered breed of the Bahamas called a Potcake. However I decided to make him orange, which many Potcakes are, but I've had SO MANY PEOPLE call me a fox! I've recently come to the decision to go with my original color scheme for him; blue, yellow, and black.
There are a couple reasons I didn't stick with it to begin with. One is that I prefer natural coors on fursona designs. The other is that I've the blue/yellow/black color scheme done a LOT in other fursuit.
However I have decided that my original idea is justified because the colors are from the Bahamain flag and since Awtek is part Alien, he can be whatever colors he damn well pleases ^_^.
The alien thing is another story...
