Shiriki was out wondering around the outside market and found this "little" guy (Me!) and decided to take him home.

Shiri: Look what I found at the market!

Zim: Holy shit whats that?!

Shiri: It's a dragon! Isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen?

Dakota: I'm a puppy!

Zim: He's kinda big for a puppy. Babe he's bigger than you! And...holy hell did you see those..

Shiri: Yeah he's got some big ones danglin down there. Can we keep him?

Dakota: I'm a good boy! I can protect you both and I can fish and dig for clams on the beach. And all I ask is for love and a nice home.

Zim: Well...alright. Who could say no to that face.
