Good gravy, well around this time last year - or before even - when I was talking about learning how to play the hammered dulcimer I somehow managed to promise
twinklestah a song about her dragon character. And then I got one. And then I wrote a song!
It was in a weird file format for about a year, for reasons that are too embarrassing to explain, until now when I was able to convert it into something more reasonable. So here it is for the first time in all its original glory: My timing is awful and the sound quallity is no better but maybe if you squint your ears it might resemble something pleasant. I can't record it again with better technology because I have forgotten how to play it!
Expect my very first original composition in the future as soon as I am less self conscious about it.

Awww. This is lovely.. :)
It is nice to finally hear it ;D
The tune is almost ethereal, and very relaxing, which I think fits somewhat. :)
I know nothing technical about music so I can't add anything there, but thank you so much for taking the time to make a SONG for me! :D
I'm glad you like it! I was afraid you didn't... I wish it was in a better quality but it helps if you set your player to treble or vocal boost or something similar so the notes sound brighter.
And hah, neither do I! I mostly found it by tiral and error and threw a few double notes in where they seemed to be needed. I wanted to give it a kind of optimistic feel but the difference in playing major and minor keys are still a mystery to me so I played bad music and "hammered" it out... To me it gives the ompression on an ancient serene place that is not too easy find. Lots of stones and the color teal, maybe some lichen and water or somethinng.
