A month or so ago I asked people if they would be interested in a book of my artwork including sketches, finished works, and my comments on the art as I did it. The response was good so I decdied to ahead with the project. Jarlidium Press picked it up and this book should be out in time for Further Confusion in Jan 2008.

I'm quite happy with the results so far. The cover here I drew up today by drawing first the blue pencil 'page', scanningthat and then distorting it in Photoshop to the angle I wanted. I printed that out and drew Flinters Roo on top of it to get the angles right. I inked that and scanned in and colored that in Photoshop. The eraser and pen were photos that I had to touch up some here and there to work, get the angles right, etc. Overall the results turned out well and I'm pleased with it.

Oh, the reason why the image is so wide is that this is a wrap around full bleed cover. Some of this will be chopped off after it's printing so you have to allow for that border.

So, what do you folks think? About 100+ pages, pencil sketches, inked works, greyscale versions of my better prints, a couple of dozen ROOMIES comics and a tutorial on drawing a ROOMIES strip from start to finish. $12 is the price it will sell for- I hope people will be interested when it comes out.
