A comparative look at the handles of my leashes. Top to bottom the leashes are: Anodized, Roundmaille, New Stainless, Old stainless, commercial (as reference). The top two are 3/4" leather, middle is 1" leather, and second from the bottom is 1" nylon mesh. I experimented with a few different lengths for the handles, but i find (for leather anyway) that the length on the Roundmaille feels the best. That might simply be a person prefurence, but unless requested otherwise, it will be the standard from now on.
